I’m new here. I installed Tutor Open EdX via AWS 1-click install. I installed also Indigo theme. It’s working fine, except for the outgoing mail. When i tried to sign-up for a user account, it won’t send an activation email. It must be with SMTP configuration. where do I find the path of the file that needs to be configured? do I update it in domain:3737 or do I need to ssh direct to the server?
Hi @86francism! Unless I’m mistaken, Amazon blocks outgoing port 25 on all EC2 instances. You should follow the procedure described here to be allowed to send emails: Supprimez la restriction du port 25 de votre instance EC2
