Sorry for this stupid question:
Where / how do I generate these ANDROID_RELEASE_STORE_PASSWORD, ANDROID_RELEASE_KEY_PASSWORD, ANDROID_RELEASE_KEY_ALIAS ?

This is embarrassing, as I am the one who added these variables, but I honestly have no idea. That’s because I never actually published an app to the Android app store. These variables are unnecessary when building in debug mode.

If you do manage to set these variables to proper values, please write a howto! we’ll add it to the docs.
