How to move through Tutor versions?

How do I specify which open-release version to install with Tutor? I assume I will have to first install either a Koa or Lilac release of Tutor and then move on to upgrade to Maple and then Nutmeg in order for the Django migrations to run correctly, right?

You need to understand the versioning scheme of Tutor: Tutor development — Tutor documentation
Basically, to run Lilac, you need tutor v12. To run Koa, v11, etc. The latest tutor release can always upgrade from any older release at any point in the past. That means that you can upgrade from Koa to Maple in one-go. That’s a daring feat though so it’s usually recommended to upgrade from v11 to v12, then to v13, etc.

In you case, you need to first migrate from the Koa native installation to Tutor v11. Then you can consider migrating to v12 or v13.

Or do I have to upgrade version by version, 3.3.0 → 3.3.1 → 3.3.2 → 3.3.4 → … → 10.x.x ?
